1. April 29, 2019 – CRA released a Tax Tip (Tax information you need to know if you bought or sold a home) which discusses eligibility for the principal residence exemption, the home buyers’ amount, the home buyers’ plan, the GST/HST rebate on new homes, and the home accessibility tax credit.

2. April 23, 2019 – CRA issued a News Release announcing the launch of public consultations as part of its commitment to improve services. The online consultation will be available until June 18, 2019.

3. April 18, 2019 – CRA added the estimated telephone wait times (updated hourly) to their webpage setting out telephone contact information.
    
4. April 8, 2019 – CRA released the new Folio S3-F3-C1, Replacement Property which replaced IT-259R4 Exchange of Property and IT-491 Former Business Property. The Folio includes discussion of items such as the repeal of the eligible capital property rules, and limited-period franchises, concession and licenses.
